I grew up in the Chicago area and went to Grace College and Seminary in Northern Indiana , where I found my wife and earned an MA degree in Biblical Counseling. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful woman named Zerrin (Turkish for: Golden Sunshine.) She is a great delight who provides significant support to me. Together we have three children who love life and the Lord Jesus just as we do. We feel very blessed by each one of them. After Seminary, my wife and I moved to McPherson , KS where we started a Christian Counseling Center . Several years later we moved the Center to Wichita , KS where it was known as The Center for Biblical Counseling. I had the opportunity to guide many people through the challenges and difficulties in life, and begin to focus on Christian Marriage Counseling. I am very thankful for those years of God working through me.

From 1991 to 2005 we were on staff at The Vineyard Church in Wichita, KS with a number of responsibilities including counseling, preaching/teaching, training small group leaders, and making evangelism not a bad word but something in which all could participate! It was great fun.

As of June 1, 2005 we began a ministry called True Life Resources, to give back to the body of Christ at large many of the great resources which God has given us. This takes place mostly through my private practice of Christian marriage and family counseling and teaching opportunities. I love going on walks with my wife, spending time with my kids, taking vacations, playing racquetball, reading, and periodically doing wild and crazy things like jumping out of airplanes!
